๐ŸŽจMy very first animal drawing

๐ŸŽ‰ Introduction

When I look back at my very first animal drawing, I can’t help but smile. It was the beginning of a journey that has shaped me as an artist. In this blog, I want to share how I started, what I’ve learned along the way, and how my art has grown into something deeply personal and meaningful.

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ My Very First Animal Drawing

I still remember the moment I picked up my pencil and decided to draw an animal, I had experience of Lettering, Mandalas an Zentangle. But I decided one day that I want to draw my doggie Angel.

“It’s just who I am: once I decide to pursue something, I give it everything I’ve got and more.”

Straight away I started YouTube an found a free tutorial of a cat I chose a cat because they fascinate me, and I wanted to capture its character on paper. I felt not a lot at that moment but boy was I proud of the end result! I didn’t found it particular beautiful but the feeling I had completed it and not give up was a little victory an gave me the curiuge to proceed.

At the time, I didn’t know much about shading or proportions—I just wanted to try. Looking back, I see both the innocence and the courage in that first attempt.

๐ŸŒฑ Learning and Growth

Over time, I began to explore new techniques: shading to create depth, layering colors to bring life, and paying attention to tiny details like fur texture or the sparkle in an eye. Tutorials, feedback, and simply practicing again and again helped me grow. Each drawing taught me something new.

๐ŸŽจ Then vs. Now

When I compare that first drawing to my recent work, the difference is striking. Back then, I focused mostly on outlines. Now, I can capture emotion, movement, and even the personality of the animal. My style has evolved from a simple drawing to expressive portraits that tell a story.

๐Ÿ’ก Inspiration Along the Way

Animals have always inspired me. Sometimes it’s a photograph I’ve taken, sometimes it’s a personal encounter, and sometimes it’s simply the way a creature looks at you. Nature, conservation, and even family moments have played a role in shaping my art.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Looking Ahead

"Looking ahead, I dream of creating more personal connections through my art. Whether it’s a commissioned portrait, a workshop, or a shared creative moment, I want my work to inspire and bring people closer to the beauty of animals and mindful creativity. Every piece I make is not just an artwork, but an invitation to connect, reflect, and celebrate the stories we share."

๐ŸŒŸ Conclusion

From that very first drawing to where I am today, the journey has been full of learning, joy, and discovery. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, and I’m excited about what lies ahead. If you’ve ever tried drawing, painting, or any creative pursuit, I encourage you to look back at your beginnings—you’ll see just how far you’ve come.

With all my love๐Ÿ’—
